Orange. It's repulsive... somehow. Interestingly, if you look at a colour wheel (Google it if you don't know it), your least favourite colour, more often than not, is the opposite of your favourite colour.

I don't know about shades though. I think they're all good when they're coupled with something.

My favorite kind of car is a Mustang, and so whenever I see a yellow one, I cringe and fight the urge to want to follow that car and tell them I don't like their paint job. Putting yellow on a Mustang is like shearing your sheep in the winter: You just don't do it. I will admit, though, that I've seen a nice yellow Camaro. Glad to see I'm not the only one that dislikes yellow on here! Ha ha.

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon. I hate the color yellow for a few reasons. 1.) It's ugly. 2.) When you try to color, paint, or draw with it, it absorbs other colors too easily. 3.) It doesn't really look good with any color besides purple and even then it doesn't look all that great.
