Three pokemon.

A fire, water, and grass type.

Which should I choose? I have beaten the game with all three...

i say Oshawott cuz i like Samurott more than the other final evolutions of the starters

My vote goes for Snivy. It has some pretty unique base stats, and I'm rather curious as to what moveset you will give it by the end of the game. (i.e., I need Serperior strategies; it has good enough base stats, I'm just not sure how to use it yet. Besides, Fire/Fighting is overdone, and my max-IV-is-13 Samurott ruined the Oshawott line for me... ) That, and I don't see teams that use Grass very often unless the starter is a Grass type.

well, Tepig would be too much of a cakewalk, you need to suffer a bit. Snivy would feed the youtuber's need for frustration and anguish... also, It looks cool, and it has a pretty cool moveset!

My vote goes to Snivy, just like WarpStarFerret said, grass types are something I haven't seen too much of.

For the record, I will choose whichever I desire, your goal is to convince me to choose the one you want =)

Also, another note. I USUALLY choose fire a lot to begin with, so my experience with grass and water types will be a little lessened.

That pig is a ripoff of a ripoff. Oshawatt is the way to go man. Its final evolution is the coolest as well.

Water! Why You Ask? Well Because Water Types Are The Second Best And Can Totally Own Fire Types And Have High Special Stats!

I am leaning toward Snivy or Tepig. I rather dislike Oshawatt. So I'm just warning you all in advance, I will probably not pick him.

i say tepig because fire types are the best even if fire/fight types are over done plus compared to the rest he is the best.

I think you should use Snivy because of the fact that it's an uphill battle for most of the game; anyone can pick Tepig and completely pwn the half the gyms with its type advantage, so the people who are more likely to need team structure advice, either directly or indirectly, will be using Snivy. Also, although the fact that the shift in tactics will make things more difficult, it would be good to pick a different type for a change of pace.

Any starter will suffice for explaining the story, but I feel that Snivy would be the best choice for helping people with battle tactics, as they will have less opportunities to simply use their starter as a crutch. Using Snivy in the LP will indirectly help others who need help with battle tactics who also picked Snivy. That's why you should use Snivy.
