Which is better? I personally think Mario is better. Pokemon makes a close second. I think that Pokemon makes for a really good show but not as much as a game. Mario on the other hand, makes for an amazing game, but not such a great show. So! My favorite is Mario for games. And pokemon for a show.

Mario is better, because if you complete it then you can start a new one without deleting the old one, and on Pokemon games you can only have one save file, and it gets boring after a while.

I actually like playing pokemon gen 1 and 2...but...

Mario gets my vote because POKEMON HAS GOTTEN SO DAMN REPETIVE!!! Why cant they do something new...even their spinoffs which gets sequels repeats themselves!!!

Pokemon formula:
 -Introduction with a proffesor
-Your mom kicking you out of the house
-You choose a pokemon...always a fire,water or grass...youll most likely pick fire...
-You get a pokedex
-Get 8 badges in gyms which has specific themes
-While on your journey you will encounter an a**h*** who claims to be superior even though you have defeated him countless time or a friend who wont stop annoying you!
-Some stupid gang who kidnaps pokemon just because they are basterds!Note the fact that a little random kid will stop their operation.
-Stupid side contest(especially the poke contests in gen 3)
-People asking for help with the solution of just battle everything!
- You getting all the badges and you are heading for the elite four to become a champion...
- Defeat the elite four and you win
