our football in 250% more tiring than soccer... because you can physically make contact... and you're not fake-falling over... wheres the sportsmaship in that?

the fact that they let it become a problem is very bad... but its not like i'd want to be in the front line to stop it... i dont think anyone would... soccer hooligans are really unreasonable and have a firery temper... and 1 sets off the rest... to be a riot officer @ a soccer match would be the worst job in the world... i suppose tear gas works very well though, so they have that...

American Football is sweet, its like medieval.. You got all the armor on, it takes a real athlete to be able to play so good in that stuff! You can barely see out of the helmets, and you need a real strong neck, because that gets really tiring.. The pads on the shoulders throw off your balance and make you top heavy, easier to fall over.. So to be able to play American Football well, takes a ton of strength

I think Moore should lose his citizenship... Or atleast be tried for treason...

Not really particularly backs/ wide outs. Linemen might a bit. It's been a while since I had one on. But yeah the shoulder pads do miss up your balance as do helments. Other than your shoulder pads and helment you have 2 knee pads and 3 pads (I never really thought they did anything for me though) to go on parts of your waist and that's it.

To be honest, I find it a LOT easier to play without pads, I find the pads to be annoying. Of course, in the NFL, the ONLY thing keeping them players alive is their helmets and pads because some of them players can weigh up to 350 pounds and can charge at you at insane speeds...it's almost equivelant to getting hit by a car in town going at 25 mph or less.

Enough people die in the NFL as it is (it's a low number, but it's still high enough), if they had no pads, there'd be no NFL within a few years.
