So my 21st birthday is coming up and I have absolutely no plans at all. I take seizure medications so I can't drink alcohol even if I wanted to. I have class until 9pm that night and I don't usually like going out late at night. I'm pretty sure my two friends are busy, but they said they would still stop by. Besides that, I have nothing to do.

From what I've heard, 21 is the last birthday that people look forward to. So far the biggest thing distinguishing this birthday from previous ones is that I have nothing to do for this one. Does anyone on Vizzed have any advice for what to do other than watching TV?

Well, not being able to drink sucks... but you can gamble at least. You may not be able to do it that day, but you can maybe plan a trip to a local Indian casino or something. I would say Vegas, but there are so many better places (though it is fun to go at least once). There are also nightclubs and 21+ shows... just give your drinks to a friend or get the alcohol-free versions.

You can't drink, oh, well. It's not the end of the world. Birthdays are fun whether you're drinking or not. What you can do is go do something else that doesn't require alcohol. Depending on how old your friends are, go to a club for a while just to get carded. Go to a bar and shoot pool, play darts, or go out to a sporting event.

Do something, it's your birthday. Maybe you can offer to pick up wine for your parents so you can get carded at the store.

If it's no big deal, don't worry about it. I enjoy all my birthdays, not just 21. The ones that come after are better anyway.
