There isn't a set date of when this game, or any of the other non-working games, will be fixed. If, and when the ROM is fixed I'd wager to say that if the ROM's issue is with the current RGR plugin, then if it's fixed with the next release of the RGR plugin, it'll be possible to transfer game data.

However, if it's an issue with the ROM, and it's fixed, I'd wager to say that the data might not be recognized by the ROM afterward. As far as playing it with a 'secret trick', you shouldn't be able to play the game after the 'Play Game' link has been removed. Reason for removing the link is so that you can't play it, and besides, the ROMs don't install onto your PC where you can play them offline...

Like tRIUNE said, if it's between the ROM and emulator a plug in update might fix it, but if it's the ROM then we just need to get a new ROM, the save data might still work for it actually. If someone can get a new working patched ROM, it could be uploaded and fixed a lot quicker than waiting for the staff to get around to it.
