Personally I think video games are an art, it's just an interactive form of art. There are so many things within a video game that would make it an art form; the music, the graphics, the story, etc...and all that together would make the game a masterpeice.

Actually I agree with Davideo on this one. The graphics and music and such. I believe that video games are definitly an art form. Think of how much work and computer animation goes into making a game like halo. All of the characters, enemies, levels, and vehicles have to be desingned.

FFX had a decent storyline... if you overlook the fact he was pulled into a black void in the sky and woke up in another world... just like FFVIII had a good storyline if you overlook the fact all the major characters knew each other from their childhoods but forgot :

I dissagree, and heres why. In my opinion 8's storyline was garbage. It was such a cheese corn and corn fest that i would say its the most cheesy corn i've ever seen. Its unrealistic and too rather fairytailish. Idk thats my opinion.
