My day was great, surfing, working out, chores, studying, practicing, more then 10 hours burnt up until now. My saturday nights are usually filled with friends, or a girlfriend recently single, or dates but tonight I have none of that. Anyone care to save me before I go insane with boredom. Please don't suggest TV or a movie, or playing video games right now thats not what I want. I play video games occasionally, and TV occasionally but that is not what I want for the next 5 hours. And I don't think I can fill that time up with dinner and checking my email. That just gave me 20 minutes lol. Nothing pertaining to listening to music or anything, I just spent 2 hours practicing today so I am done with music for now. I have to much dignity to go to the theaters alone or a bar alone lol.

You know, I was in a similar pickle until I saw this thread. You reminded me that I need to draw...so I'ma go and do that.

Seeing a movie on your own is good fun. There's no one to worry about, you can hang out as long or as short as you like, you can hop different movies and see a few at a time. It's a nice experience and doesn't make you a loser, especially if you're old enough to go to a bar.

Go to a bar anyway and make some new friends. Go drink, it's Saturday night. Meet some pretty girls (or hot guys if you like guys) and make some new friends. You can even try a bar that is completely outside of your usual spots or is different than anything you'd ever been in before. Get outside your realm of comfort. Gay kareoke bars are good fun. It's entertaining to watch those queens perform.

If that's not for you, go for a long quiet walk at night. You surfed today, so the weather is probably good enough to be outside. Go be alone with your thoughts, away from people, electronics, and mental stimulation. Go be bored for a while in a park and enjoy the sensation.

Just get out and try something different.

When I'm in your situation I start writing, whether it be my own short stories, or maybe a journal of my day, but that's just me...

Otherwise, I usually utilize the forum feature of this site and do a ton of posts, it sucks up a bunch of time really fast!

Carve something out of a candle with a plastic knife. That sounds fun to me.

Honestly, I find no shame whatsoever going to a theater by myself. I do it quite often. It nice to go with a friend, yes, but other times it's relaxing to go by yourself. Especially if you're the only person in a room. Think of it as watching a movie at home and chilling. No need for dignities to be lost here.

Other than that, next time you get bored and you're on the internet- bored.com. Haven't been there in a long time, but there's always something to do on that site.

Eat a non lead pencil.

Preferably a smencil.

It could take a while, but it works every time.

You could start a hobby like makeing Models, Trains, Board games, ect..

you could working on your rank by Posting on boards maybe?

I suggest finding a game you love that you haven't played in a while and replaying it.

Play in the RGR or post or even read a book! Or watch TV, go outside and look at the sky, There is so much you can do
