Even though I live right outside of Atlantic City, NJ and near other major beaches you shoobies out there like to visit, I don't go to the beach that much. I go once a year, twice if I'm lucky. I like the beach, though. My favorite activities are skimboarding, digging gigantic holes that are around 4 feet deep, and walking along the shore after dark.

I go to the beach for hours at a time. We have all-year beach weather so we're always there. I'll do everything from drink beer, grill, eat food, and sleep to read books, talk on the phone, play sports, surf, and snorkle.

I love swimming. I'm in New England, so it's either great for swimming or loaded with seaweed. The seaweed appears after a bad storm happens anywhere on the east coast. Volleyball is always fun.

I especially love swimming with my dog. He is a very good swimmer and he loves it. Sometimes he decides that he's tired and swims up next to one of us and waits for us to pick him up so he can take a break. Basically, one of us is out treading water and holding a lazy 70-pound dog.

I'm Irish (but from America). I've never gotten a tan in my life, but I have gotten some ugly sunburns. So, sunscreen is also at the top of the list.

Bonfires with friends, and checking out tide pools... it is pretty much the only way that you get me to go to a beach. Ironically, I worked at one for the last two years as a parking booth operator. Rather amusing stuff to hear from a girl from SoCal isn't it?

I haven't been to the beach since i was about 6 i went with my friend and her mommy.
