I don't get angry, first off because getting angry doesn't really solve anything. The second reason I don't get angry is because they are maybe misinterpreting what anime is or maybe they just don't like it. If you like anime cool, but if you don't that's cool too; everyone is different and we can't ask everyone to agree on everything.

I've never really encountered a person saying that, but I wouldn't start an argument. I'd just think it's their opinion, let them think what they want. I think my parents actually got that impression, when they one time saw me watching an anime cartoon. It just happened to be a quite violent scene, which I didn't expect myself, either...
