So, if you have read the_casualtys and legacyme3's Perspective threads, then I'm fairly sure you have read a particular part that mentions on the topic about the golden age of vizzed, Basically meaning a time when vizzed was going really well for you, there was no arguing etc etc.

My question is, when was your Golden age of vizzed?

Mine was June 10th-September 30th-ish.

The golden age of Vizzed is when there was no chat room, no annoying newbies, no newbie quiz, no rgr, just some cool old members who dedicated their time here who actually posted not just to spam it up good. Geo, Vash, Randy, Bob, DM, Ice to name a few when they were all active that is when it was golden in my opinion. Sure vizzed as a product improved, but it did loose a majority of its original members in the process. DH is the most recent addition to that special list and with him gone, being the most dedicated in my opinion as far as helping people its just not the same anymore.

My golden age here was when DH was staff back in the day, and me and geo were once admins... good times (even though we fought a lot you gotta admit those were the days )

I do miss a lot of the old members too. It would be awesome if we could get them all to come back but I don't see that happening. And the "fights" back then we pretty tame compared to what goes on now. But that's how things go when you have this many members.

My golden age, as you would probably guess by reading my perspective thread, would be from about the end of January last year to the end of summer; namely, receiving trusted status, through RGR Staff, lots of enjoyable posting, and Local Mod status. I'm getting back into that flow again, but many of the members that made that time so enjoyable (Crono, DM, hypermonkey, Shane, etc.) are either gone or much less active these days. And without DH, the next murder mystery just won't be the same .

It might be a bit early for me to really have a 'golden age', but so far it's the 26th of January through the first week of February, when I posted like a caffeinated maniac. I got OPS about 4 or 5 times in that time frame, and I even hit Ravering. Not one of those posts was spam either.

You know, when I first found my way here, I knew this place was very special. When I was banned for a while, Vizzed was on my mind from time to time. I planned to ask David for a 2nd chance once a year had passed. I actually forgot about it for month lol but I did sign back on and PM him and he let me back. Anyway, when I first came here, David was the only user who was nice to me. When I came back 13+ months later, I slowly made friends and posted more frequently and I actually had things to say. Honestly, Vizzed just keeps getting better for me. September was better than August, October was better than September, November was better than October, and so on. Everyday I am grateful to be here and I don't take that for granted.
