Truth.

I was banned from the Chat Room. Again. Over a dispute I had with Annette. Again.

See the pattern?

So this time, Annette was in the Lobby, and the masses somehow got on the topic of "getting high". Annette said something to the affect of "I like to get high and listen to music" and "Special brownies are amazing". She then went on to say something to the effect of "Yeah. People who get high all the time are a wate of my time." I saww her feeble and flawed logic and said something like "So you get high, yet you clain people who do are a waste of time?" "Makes perfect sense."

Well, this must of struck a nerve in Annette, as she called me an idiot. Yet again, she shows her splendid brain power/sarcasm.

With her insulting me I choose to insult back, and the phrase "c***-hole" was used.

This must of made her boy-toy, BTowns, to get angry, as he -tried- to explain what a horrible member I was, saying using such a phrase on a kid-visited website is simply vile.

BTowns : And somebody talking about getting wasted isn't? Please, use logic.

He also goes on to say how I started being a bad member around the time a past member, jmc, started making Canadian jokes.

1- I was always the way I am before I knew jmc.
2- I was always like this before you started getting upset over such jokes I never made about Canada.
3- How you ever got to that conclusion, it's...it's uncanny.

Annette : You can try to make yourself look in the right all you want, but the transcipts will prove you started it. Maybe lay off them special brownies, eh?

I was also informed that Annette was not punished, despite her talking about a topic that belongs in the Mature chat in the lobby. Why? Beats me. She also insulted me before I insulted her. So, by the masses logic, Insult=Insult.She should also be punished.

Annette : I was also talking among other various members, and most seem to agree- You are snobbish, full of yourself, and you escape any punishments simply because 1- You are of female gender. And 2- BTowns has a lot of say in such matters. And by other members, I just don't mean jmc. I mean some higher-ups as well. You are, for lack of better words, hated.


Clearly, something isn't right here. Mods playing favorites? Hive-Minded members? Can somebody explain to me some people here get off the hook while others can do 1 thing and have the book thrown at them?

I can say as a representative of the "n00bish spammers", or whatever the hell the "better" members call us, that mods pick favorites, obviously. It's just like that in the real world. Some people can get away with saying absolute crap and being inappropriate and still be respected/be a mod, yet when a person like me tries to joke around, I get kicked, lose TP, and have mods say crap about me behind my back. Why?

I've come to this conclusion.

If you don't make a good first impression, it is impossible to ever be respected by the raging tyrants we have as mods today. Mind you, I'm not saying all mods are bad, but some are utterly corrupt and yet others think they lead the site because they befriended two or three people (the globals). I was a n00b, spammer, what ever... but obviously I've stopped that. And still I lack trust by many people.

I'm not against Annette, and I'm not against you. I'm... neutral, eh? But from what I've seen around I've made a pretty good synopsis of Vizzed in general.

I have a few things to say...

You DID intact get another chance, when you had gotten banned from chat and then finally got it lifted. The first was also a bit unfair, this seemed a bit more reasonable...
I too agree it isn't as fair for only you being punished this time, but you had the clearer, more insulting slang thrown at the other.
I'm not siding with either place this time, cause if I do, I know where I'll land.
Also, going here to insult made the situation, in fact, even WORSE then it was already. It probably would have ended soon with you being ubanned, but this prooved a bit of unsteadiness in your path of "acceptance" or whatever. It seems harsh to be saying this to one of my best friends, but I feel as if it needed to be explained

However, relating you to an Uber-IP banned member (spread that around as the new name of the ban, everybody ) did seem unfair, and a bit intolerable. Nobody wants to be compared to someone that people are hating on, and nobody wants to BE the hated one, not called the hated one. Proving the logic behind making this thread only to insult Annette, yet explain your side of the story, a tad bit broken. Logipwned

Also, if you notice a pattern that relates over something like that over the same person, wouldn't you think to AVOID getting into trouble again with that same person? DERP DE DERP . seriously, Block would have saved yourself here. And it's getting a lot more boring quicker in chat with you gone.

It's sad to see you gone in there, it's a lot more boring, it doesn't seem fair that both sides can't be justified, but if it repeats, you have to either 1) beat the other user to the report or 2) break the chain and try to be the more mature. In this case, you didn't achieve either I too must take a bit of blame over your ban though, seeing as how I had tried to speak to you too late =/

I hope you can get back soon, I hope you can get whatever justification you wish for, but time must be done to those who can't hide their sorrowful blame.

Yeah I agree people are getting off the hook. I propose we ban everyone involved in a fight from now on. You are not the only victim to such circumstances there have been a few others from what I have seen in similar situations where only 1 person gets banned and everyone else walks away clean. So if you were indeed banned, then I say lets ban the others who were involved and make it more fair.

Main reason why you probably got banned and she did not are how the offenses are presented, instead of saying oh these two were fighting someone could have said only you were fighting so it puts all the blame on you. I don't follow the reports anymore but that is how they usually work.

This is why I stay out of chat, first off.

However, as MegaRevolution said, this thread is really not helping your cause. Yes, there are members who get treated better. Yes, the mods can be biased. No, you cannot justify using that kind of language and then going and outright flaming other members and mods because you feel mistreated. Take it up with David, and if you can't resolve it to your satisfaction, then maybe you should just stay out of the chat rooms. But this is not how you go about it.

Read the following transcript log from the bottom up. It starts where the conversation took an ugly turn, with your "gonna get me banned" comment coming out of the blue. Not so much the little comment on her logic, or a retaliation, more like insulting her directly. She was joking and being sarcastic, which I've noticed several times that anyone using sarcasm seems to escape you. She said anyone who sits around smoking pot all day is a waste of her time, not anyone who gets high. She means the stoners who do nothing else but get high. She didn't say she likes getting high while listening to music, she said that listening to music is a fun thing to do while high. She's been high from prescription medicine after getting her wisdom teeth removed, she's never smoked anything. Foul language is more harmful than talking about getting wasted, since talking about getting wasted isn't as directly offensive as seeing swears plastered on your screen. You were insulting me without jmc, yes, I agree you were that way before the day jmc was banned. On the day he was, you were carrying on with him and narrowly avoided a ban by not directly insulting people to the extent jmc was. Annette is in no way snobbish or full of herself, attacking her for that just because she's physically attractive is unfair. Yes, there are attractive girls that get stuck up and full of themselves. Annette is not stuck up in any way, she has as many insecurities as anyone else. Just by her being attractive she constantly gets attacked by people like you who don't even know her and call her stuck up and snobbish. Not everyone is like the people you see in the movies, a lot of the time we're all just normal people who don't fall into hollywood stereotypes. Annette doesn't spam, excessively troll or flame, and doesn't attack staff members and completely disregard the rules. She goes as unpunished as the majority of people in chat who have done a lot of wrong, but nothing yet bannable.

You being banned isn't because of this one event. The ban has been building up for a while. We keep tabs on the abuse by members jazz, and this is in no way the first thing you've done wrong.

the_casualty : I guess the mods do sometimes pick favorites, and that would most likely be because some people earn that. By being a good, helpful, friendly member who doesn't flame, spam, or troll, that might earn a bit of favoritism. Or rather, you could say it's not actually favoritism, it's just people behaving how they should and usually people appreciate that. Yes first impressions are important, because even if you act fine sometimes, unless the people you've offended are there to see it, it doesn't count for much. You can't suddenly change the way you are and expect people to suddenly change their opinion of you. It's gradual. If you keep something up for long enough, people will start to notice and change how they feel about whatever it was you've changed. Studies have shown it takes 7 compliments to take away 1 insult. The same goes for doing something that's looked down upon, it takes a whole lot of good before you can raise people's opinions after you've done something people disapprove of.

BTowns : Tis true. After reading what I wrote a while ago I realize that I kinda balled all of my negative energy in one long rant. W/e.

I don't expect people to love me... I am a kind of person that can only be liked by some; just because I don't post uber long messages and talk like some sort of rich Englishman and behave and whatever can get people to not really like me. I understand that, I guess. But recently there was a few harsh comments made against me by a few different people; it hurts my feelings because these comments were made by people with very large influence on here, and I did virtually nothing to them.

Also, I hate it when people are serious... that's probably why lots of people dislike me too. But I'll live with it, I got my buds like alexanyways and Zamiel and big fat cat.

I wasn't TRYING to have an argument with you, if you got offended about my comments concerning psychoactive substances then I am sorry- I didn't mean for them to be argumentative. I was not trying to start anything, I was just chatting about the topic at hand. You started something way out of hand and more serious than called for when you started flaming. However...

I admit that talking about prescription opiates does not belong in the Lobby. I have said things that belong in the Mature chat while in the Lobby several times and I apologize for that and accept any punishment the mods see fit concerning that behavior.

I don't really know what to say about this. But I do agree with the punishment at hand. Annette has apologized. She has shown to me many times she can be very mature and I don't think she deserves to be banned. Jazz unfortunately you do tend to flame members, even if you're joking around, it's not funny to everyone. I think the mods did what they had to do.

BTowns : Edited transcripts are edited. Try using the actual ones and stop trying to protect your girlfriend. This thread is called Truth=Truth, after all.

JazzCoon : Nothing from that transcript I took was edited out, I didn't even remove other people's comments or pointless system messages. I started it from the bottom of the page I took it from, starting at your comment when things started getting ugly. It's exactly from the transcript logs, if me saying that doesn't convince I'm not sure how to. If you're referring to the three edits on that earlier post, those edits were attempts at making my post more accurate and less offensive.

JazzCoon, enlighten me then. What did I edit out of the transcript. All the stuff before that was just talking about being high, and people's opinions on being high and other people being high. Then this comes up. Unless you want me to call up your sarcastic remarks at Annette implying that she's dumb, when it was actually you who either wasn't paying attention to or didn't understand her comment about people who sit around smoking all day are losers, which it seems you thought she meant people that have been high are losers.

People who get high are destroying their bodies. I'd warrant that as a loser. Why anyone would do that on person (and talk about it on a kid-visited sight) has problems. Annette was going on about herself token it up.

FYI, I started the talk about getting high. pi0x kinda initiated it but I really got people talking about it. Annette barely said anything on the topic, maybe 2 sentences.

The special brownies comment was a joke. Once again, displaying your lack of ability to interpret sarcasm. We aren't half dating, we're best friends. And this isn't about her talking about drugs, the other people in chat were doing the same. This is about you flaming her and attacking her, stop trying to redirect things against her. Read this thread. Her post talks about prescription. If you imagined her smoking it up, that's your own fault, not hers. And regardless of whether or not she does get high (which she doesn't) that's not really any excuse to call her sexist names and insult her intelligence.
