It's not Valentines Day. It is Singles Awareness Day!

I enjoy this holiday. It's only once a year, but it's so nice to have a holiday that you can share with others while appropriately laughing at the couples because they're missing out on such a great day

It actually seems a bit sad when I think about it. It's more of a denial day. Oh well.

I still love it.

Although I am currently not single...I do support Singles Awareness Day!

I like it, but now I celebrate Valentine's day. So I'm less likely to support Singles Awareness Day.

I thought it was a joke made up by one of my friends on Facebook, but then I had 4 or 5 other people posting it who don't know the first person. It's actually on Wikipedia too.

But the author on wiki has a nice point: Some want to remind romantic couples that they don't need to be in a relationship to celebrate life. <-- that's so true.

Although I'm not currently single, not everybody has found that certain person yet . Therefore, I think this holiday is alright.

The phrase "I don't even care" fits me perfectly when this day rolls around.

HAHA. I just heard of this today, on the Radio. I think its great, but here's to hoping next year I will be celebrating Valentine's Day. It always nice to show someone you care and appreciate...

BNuge : I heard about this one… I just prefer to think of Valentine ’s Day from a single man’s perspective as just a manufactured holiday that retail outlets and chocolate companies cash in on. I’m not saying I am not sentimental and not a romantic but I feel that sometimes people can go a little overboard with their expectations on Valentine ’s Day.

As I said this is just one single man’s perspective and I feel that in certain circumstances it may be beneficial for one to be single but I also feel that there is someone for everyone and that eventually if you allow things to take it’s course everything just may fall into place.

When I was younger I pretty much felt that I had a plan set out that I would be married and settled down by the time I reached twenty-six years old. The good thing about getting older is it not only matures you but it allows you to realize that some things in life you just can’t plan no matter how much you may try.

Once I realized that my plan or a better term for it may be goal wasn’t going to come to fruition that it is better to take a “One day at a time “ approach and just take things as they come. A little divine intervention also doesn’t hurt from time to time.

Well I'm calling it yesterday, and I had a blast. We handed out homemade Valentines cards at a nursing home for a community service project and then had cake .

I'm not a single person but I support the holiday!!!!

Singles Awareness Day? Never heard of it, I don't celebrate that or valentines day because I am elite!
