I keep this ting that is used to hold up curtians in my closet. Its sharp and blunt and can be used as a weapon. I also practice with them every day and have devoloped a fighting style and ways to use them.

It depends on what they are armed with. If they have a gun, I'll consider confronting them. If they have a knife, I will go out of my way to avoid a confrontation. Guns have only one line of fire, so it's much easier to defend against a gun attack.

I do have some of my karate weapons in my room. They're not sharp, but they have edges that wouldn't feel good.

I'd rather call 911 and hide. My stuff's not as important as my life. If it came down to it though, I think dealing with a person with a gun in your own house would be easier than dealing with someone who has a knife.
