I have stolen a few times as a child...ridiculous things like candy bars and candy from a store. Why? Because I was hanging out with the wrong crowd, and being naive. Thankfully it hasn't become a habit or I'd probably be in jail.

Some people steal because they want something, can't afford it and feel the need to steal.
Others steal for addictions and personal reasons. I don't know what drives a person to steal but those are my only logical opinions.

I stole a bingo game from my uncle when I was very young. My Mom found it under my bed and she called him up and I apologized. I didn't see him again for over a decade. For the longest time, that's probably what he remembered me by.

I stole a bunch of Sanrio stuff from a drug store because a group of classmates threatened to beat me up and toss me in a dumpster if I didn't. I got caught, I told my story, the manager of the store (who knew me and my family) believed me, the cops sided with the others and even lied to my parents about talking to them.
