Gosh there's a lot. How is this possible? But anyway, I just say the most recent ones I remember: Urban Reign and Way of the Samurai. UR just is the best fighting game ever (still is imo) and WotS was just really engaging because it had like seven different ending because there was three different paths to take with sub-paths beneath them. It even gave you the option to pass through the town, keep going, then leave- and that's that, game over lol (of course it's a stupid boring ending).

If you have a multi-tap then I would recomend 007 Nightfire THe splitscreen multiplayer is amazing with 4 freinds. Mercenenaries: Playground of Destruction is a great singleplayer game. It's sort of like a T rated Grand Theft Auto set in a war stricken North Korea.

Star Ocean Till the End of Time followed by Kingdom Hearts II. Those are the best games for the PS2 I highly recommend those two if you haven't played them yet, you'd be wondering where you dropped your jaw it's that good.
