I just saw this at the weekend.

Really enjoyed it despite some minor infidelities to the source material and a slightly different message.

I'm a big fan of the graphic novel and of Alan Moore's work in general really. I was just wondering what your impressions were. Anyone really like it? Hate it?

Well it has some very good action sequences but I wouldn't cheapen it by calling it an action film. It's a more cerebral fare than that. If you're looking for a 2 hour slug fest you might be disappointed.

Pretty much yeah! It has an engrossing story line with interesting characters and the whole thing is pretty well acted.
