I like Gamespot.com. You can run a search for pretty much any game. I still use it for Gameboy games. Just so you know, when you've clicked on the game, scroll down until you see the link that says "Hints and Cheats." They have other stuff like images and reviews, but I think you're just looking for info. They also have guides from multiple sites including GameFAQs. GameFAQs has the best guides, but I have no idea how to navigate it.

When I'm having trouble in a game I don't look up game codes. Instead I go on youtube and type in (name of the game) walk through. It's much simpler that way...I always hated having to press a whole bunch of buttons for a code cause I forgot midway through.

The sites that I use the most are Gameskanker.com, and gameFAQs the usually have all the cheats and walkthroughs that you need. Gamespot is another decent site as well, but I don't visit it nearly as often as gameFAQs
