The Lord of the rings Trilogy, I watched that movie until I memorized nearly every single line, I used to watch 1 lord of the rings movie every weekend for a year (I know a little obsesive)! But my favorite out of the three was the last one, "The return of the king", if you haven't seen it, be sure to watch it, you will NOT regret it.

At this particular point in time I am going to have to go with the Lord of the Rings movies. The Hobbit films may surpass them once they come out, but we will have to see.

I was reading the other posts, and as much as I would love to be a little different, The Lord of the Rings was the cinematic event of my lifetime.  I was such a Tolkien fan as a kid, to see it brought to life before my eyes was really magical.  They did such a good job in bringing the image in our minds to the screen.  Although there are a good many more entertaining films out there, LOTR sets the standard by which all will be judged, past and future.

I'm not big on scifi and few fantasy, but there are few that I actually like. One would have to be the Anime movie Treasure Island  and the movie Avatar. I'll admit, I like that one. There are a few more, just can't think of the names of them.

id say lord of the rings, which is funny because i didnt actually like the 1st one.
