I'm gonna say Arcanine. You won't find a more loyal Pokemon than an Arcanine. Plus it's huge and can breath fire. Wouldn't have to worry about getting hurt because Arcanine would protect me. And I'll bet with it's fuzzy fur it would be a great cuddle pet.

I would say Arcanine for most of the same reasons as Chaos. Loyal and fire breathing would be good for protection. I was thinking Growlithe, but Arcanine is also large enough to ride on and it has Extremespeed, so it could be good for travel. I also love dogs, so it would be perfect.
