I got sick from the drinking the water in Chile for a few days without knowing it's unhealthy for some reason to drink water there being that I'm from America and I guess our water is different. *shrugs*

Nothing life threatening or major....just pains in my stomach.

As far as getting sick from food, no that hasn't happened to me.

Yeah.. ugh! In Japan I had some kind of fish thing that wasn't cooked the way you normally would cook it. You put it in your own little burner thing at the table and you cooked what ever you wanted in it. It was a traditional Japanese meal but I didnt want to be disrespectful so I ate what I could.

Luckily I have never gotten sick from eating foreign food. I have a pretty solid stomach so I Can pretty much handle any crazy cuisine you throw at me, except for bugs.

Once I did, but it wasn't food I ate in another country, it was food from a local Chinese take away.  I have never been a fan of Chinese food, so it might have been my stomach not agreeing with what I ate. But it certainly made me feel sick all night.

When I was in Rio,Brazil with some friends many moons ago,my friend got sick you could say,by eating a delicacy,a live cockroach,he didn't seem to like it much but got worse when it turned out he picked a bad cockroach,a pregnant one and it's eggs were implanted in his throat,he had to get surgery,fun holiday he had,I passed on trying a live cockroach,but Rio was nice
