Hey, does anyone remember rmdownloads.com from back in the day? Well the above link is an archive of a lot of their old games!

Sadly, RPG Maker Downloads shut down a few months back, but while searching online, I discovered this archive, with some great games including my all time favorite Dawn of Darkness by Solik. There is also a download for DoD Legends: Nightwish also by Solik. Now all I need to do is find an old archive for Weapons and Warriors by Ruby_Weapon (who was one of my old RPG Making pals). Be sure to download Dawn of Darkness (Full version RPGMaker 95) because it is a true classic. If you've already played it, you know it is! Don't deny it :-P

Well, hope you guys and future game creators find these fun, inspirational and interesting!

A Blurred Line (95)
The Way Episodes 1-5 (2k) Great game by Lun
DoD (Dawn of Darkness) (95) the best IMO
DoD Legends (or 2): Nightwish (2k) anyone who is an oldbie to the RPG Maker community will know that Solik used the name Nightwish after being inspired by his favorite bad of the same name!
Sunset Over Imdahl (2k) A must download. Custom maps, menus and characters! Gripping storyline. Not sure if this is a full version. The full version can be found at http://www.gamingw.net just incase it's a demo.
Shadowed Sun (95) Awesome game by Bulldog
Mr. Big T (2k) funny game, good download ... demo i think.

The rest I've never played, so I can't really give a good review. I'll try to DL them sometime and give you guys a good review.

Being a fan of Dark Matter (and any game with a futuristic setting), it would be great to see areview for it in the near future. Good luck on that.

My site at https://www.vizzed.com/RPGMaker95/Games.htm has all the RPG Maker 95 games that were available at rmdownloads. I dont have any 2k games available but I have just about every single available RPG Maker 95 game that still exists.

This is really neat, maybe I'll play a few games once football season is over...maybe I'll have more time to do stuff like this.

I have the rpg Maker 95 too it is realy good!!

there were three good rm2k games, but only in german:
"Unterwegs in Düsterburg" ("travelling through dusterburg" as a proper translation) as well as "Vampires Dawn" 1 and 2: "Reign of blood" and "Ancient Blood".

the first one is about an adventurer (Grandy, he also created that game) hwo woke up in a forest with amnesia.
he and his comrades Libra (His wife) Dankwart (A former king, thrown out of his castle by Wahnfried, a vampire and the "bad one" in this game) Julie (Grandys dog) and Tarius (Libras Brother) travel trough Dusterburg and want to destroy Wahnfried, who casted an eternal eclipse on the land (he stopped time during one)

Vampires Dawn is about the human Valnar, who were turned into a vampire ba Asgar.
The story is about his struggle between Humanity and Monster

I used to play Fanister's island I LOVED IT.

LOL, Fanisters Island was my first game I made for RPG Maker 95 that I made when I was 12, so like 11 years ago.

Interesting to hear that someone on the board has actually played it

It's basically about some people who get stranded on an island and find others who are also stranded and they join forces to try and get off the island and in the meantime have to watch out for some "undiscovered" monsters that are also on the island with them. 5 years after I made the game I actually started to write a novel based on the game but I only got to page 50 and than sorta quit

Pretty much, except I came out with my idea like 8 years before that show started

But yeah, my concept was that there were creatures living on the island that man though had already been extinct...come to think of it, almost sounds like they stole my idea (of course i know that's not true but still).

LOST borrowed heavily from Lord of the Flies, it wouldn't be surprising if they picked up your premise on the way there, either.

I wanna play Fanister's Island again but I don't think it'll work on my Vista.

Lord of the Flies was an awesome book/movie. Years ago I wanted to make and RM2k3 game similar to Lord of the Flies where you're a character stranded with other characters and everyone slowly teams up against you but never got enough people to help out with the project
