Chalk up another vote to VII for me.

It's not that I don't enjoy other games, in fact I feel that others have stronger elements that VII does, but that game.. I spent A LOT of time on that game when I bought it off someone at a garage sale one day, and there was so much variety there.. that's what really hooks me in a game.

Eh, that list just seems to be made out of the standard games.. there's nothing there for the GB games, Crystal Chronicles and its offshoots either.

Also, I have played and beat Tactics and I never found it to be anything that I would hold above my own choice, or a few others that I didn't mention... it was quite a good game though, I wouldn't blame anyone for picking it.

Final Fantasy VII is the best, no doubts about it.
It is so much immersive... what a great storyline! I have played lots of other Final Fantasy, but I did not find anything even close to it.

I thought Final Fantasy X would receive most of the votes here. It is very cool to see so much people still prefer FF7.

To be honest, I'd love to see a remake of FF8 just as much as FF7 but since FF7 is still my favorite game, the tie breaker goes to FF7.

But I think FF7 looks just a little more outdated than FF8 anyway so I think FF7 would deserve it more come to think of it.

i could probally come up with at least one sequal/spin off game for each and every FF game, but id rather new content not old with updated graphics.
story is number one important and i can play ff7/8/9 whatever on my ps2 so what do i need updated graphics?
