You really should just stick with a PSP 2000 or 3000. The PSP Go really offers nothing more than a smaller size. It doesn't use disc like the other psp's cause you have to download all the games, which means that when you get so many games you have to start getting rid of some of them. Well if you like the downloading the games thing you should go for it but it's mainly just a nuisance.

Yeah, all you do is pay fifty (50) bucks to give a PSP the loss of a ton of features such as reading discs. If you've had any UMD's before, you can't use them, or have them put onto your PSP Go, meaning you have to go on PSN, and buy new ones. Downloading games takes hours, and you get 16 GBs, every game is worth 1-4 GB's! That's only about 7 games or a little more. Also, homebrew is much harder to do. Just stick with PSP2000, PSP3000, PSP3001 through 3004.
