Okay, I wanted to know what everyone's scariest life experience was? I have a few that I'd like to share.

One of them, was when I was like 10 or so, and my Mom, sister and I were driving home at night from going out some where. I don't remember where we went, but I remember on the way home, this big van was following us, and at first we thought nothing of it. Well my Mom noticed that they were tail gating us, so she pulled to the side of the street and was going to let them pass us. Well, instead they tried to box us in, for whatever reason. Thankfully my Mom had quick thinking and got us out of that situation. I remember looking back at the van and the driving must have been stunned by my Mom's reaction cause he sat there for a few seconds as we sped off. Thankfully, we lost him and nothing bad happened.

The second one was when I was about 14 years old. My parents had just separated and for whatever reason, my Mom and siblings were up late. Well I had just brought my puppy in from the garage and about five minutes after that, someone tried to break into our house, and we were still home. It was around midnight or a lil after when it happened. If it wasn't for our guard dogs in the backyard, something awful might have happened. We called the police and they saw that someone broke the lock to our gate and tried to pry our garage side door open. Our dogs chased whomever it was off, and came back with blood in their mouth. They bit whomever it was trying to break in.

Jeez, a lot of messed up things happen to you sunny. Anyway, the scariest life experience happened to me when I was about 6. I was taking a shower and I noticed the door was open (I've always hated when the door's open when I take the shower even when I'm home alone). Well, I was kind of stupid, because there was no rug or dirty clothes I could step on, so when I got out of the shower I slipped and fell on my head. I had to go to the emergency room and get stitches, I'm kind of lucky I didn't die though. I fell pretty hard.

During a previous demolition job, I was assigned to consolidate debris from the building. It was inside a warehouse that had structural additions that were being removed.. so while it wasn't OSHA approved, we were knocking it down with a forklift.

The driver of the forklift was on the other side of this 40x15' wall with the 10' roof still attached, as I was sorting the debris I had no idea that the forklift was even there because of the normal deafening noise. I looked up and a co-worker waved to me to come to him, I didn't know what he was talking about until I heard a crackling noise. I then ran and the entire wall fell right behind my ankles.

It would have killed me for sure, unless by chance it was a Looney Tunes scenario where the window fell over me, but I doubt it .

M!cH@3l 001 - Actually at the time the neighborhood we lived in was pretty nice. It was scary tho to have that happened. But to be honest, I've been through worse things. However, as a kid, that is a very scary situation.

must have been really scary! thanks god you had dogs sun, they're always a great help

so, my scariest life experience (without counting all my falls down the stairs, they always frighten me)happened two years ago. I was walking alone one night around nine p.m., just heading home after a meeting with some friends. It was only five blocks away so i was like "hey it's just minutes away, I can go walking." Stupid enough, I went listening music with my ipod. I was only one block away now when somebody grabbed me with his arm around my neck and pushed me against the wall. They were two girls abourmy age, can you imagine?? and no, i couldn't just kick them and get out of there. They were strong and I was completely paralized. one said to me "give me everything" and I was so stunned i even asked "what?" so she took my dear dear ipod just right of my hands while the other one took my phone from my pocket. I though "yeah, i got nothing else, i can go now". But no, they wanted me to go with them a couple of blocks so it'd look like we were "friends" and so they wouldn't get cought. At first I was scared it would be some kinda trap and they'd kidnap me. I had to walk with them two blocks while I heard them argue about stealing or not my jacket, which they didn't. Then they said I could go. I got there as soon as I could and when i got there i started crying because I was still shocked. Now I always look back whenever I'm walking down the street.

WOW Maggie, that's really scary. Yeah, I'm really thankful I had our dogs too. That's one reason I always have at least one dog in my house.

I just remembered another incident, my Mom, sister and I were driving behind my brother, he was in his car with my other brother and we were going to go out to dinner. Well his car's steering wheel locked up while he was driving and they hit a tree. The accident should've killed them, but thankfully they walked away with minor injuries. It was scary cause I thought they were killed. And having witnessed it made things even worse.

Maggie178 : Aww, poor maggie. I feel sad now.

Anyway, another scary incident I had (it wasn't mind-bendingly scary but it was scary enough) is where I was in a car and my mom was driving through the streets, it was snowy and icy and crappy, bah. We had to stop short because the light turned red and we bumped a car in front of us. Luckily there was no damage to either car but it still scared the crap out of me.

Hmmmm, i think my scariest life experience was, when i´ve been rock climbing in Mexico ( Bernal ) and suddenly slipped away and had no belts or anything to hold me.

I just slipped a few meters till i got grip again. During that action i ripped two nails of my fingers....that hurt !!!

After holding myself with one arm, looking down and pulling me up again, i took a break and was happy, that i didn´t fall all the way down ! It was horrible !

But i guess i had the biggest rush of adrenalin ever hahaha !

It was last summer, I was hitch-hiking somewhere in Germany I think and one guy picked me and my friend up, and he did 200 km/H on highway, and I HATE the speed, everything was going soooo fast, I thought, one little wrong bump on the road and we're dead.
And he did NOT slow down, brrrh.

Second was also this summer, first time in my life did I fly with a plane.
I've always had a paranoia that if I ever go on a plane, it will fall down.
Well, it didn't obviously, but the moment was scary

Moments when you see someone get hurt or when someone you know is in between of life and death - those are beyond scary!

I got robbed at gun point when i was 14, then again at 15. I never told anyone about it so it took a long time to get over, especially since the second time it was a "friend" of mine.

Other than that it would have to be when i was a street kid (i couldnt go home because of my dad) and these guys cornered me in the parking lot of my friends apartment building. Luckily, my friends could see me from their balcony and came to my rescue.

This is gonna sound weird, but I have two.

The first one, was the incident I posted about a few months back. (The one about the race I was completely not prepared for and my heart rate skyrocketed.) While it was scary, it also led me to my girlfriend. Had it not happened, I would have slept in my dorm the minute I got back to my dorm. But because of what happened, I went home for the weekend, stayed up all night and talked to her. We started dating soon after.

The second one, I love talking about.

Me and my friend Kyle had just seen a movie, The Other Guys. It was hilarious. After the movie, he was driving us home, and all of a sudden, a car comes out of nowhere and almost side swiped us. Luckily Kyle played a TON of GTA and saved us.

I don't exactly like recalling memories, but I'll use one that isn't the scariest, but also isn't good. I used to do stupid things. Like really stupid. One of them was back talking people I didn't know. So one day I just cussed out this big black guy, and as he walked away and smiled telling me I would regret it. A few weeks later I had totally forgotten about it, when a close friend of mine got hit by a car and died. They never found out who it was. When I was at his funeral though, and I stand in the back so no one can see me cry, I felt a sudden point of pain on the small of my back, and I heard the same voice that taught me about regret tell me that I should have listened. I was scared out of my wits and I passed out because I had forgotten to breath.

aeonarial : I'm so sorry to hear you lost your friend. I don't think it was your fault though. So don't beat yourself up over it.

Courage is not having the strength to go on, it's going on when you don't have the strength. ????

Well, probably when there was a big storm and my mom's windshield wipers broke. THAT was scary. We couldn't see at all and we got home like 4 hours late.

aeonarial : That guy's the retard. Not you. I feel so bad.

Well when i was 2 years old i accedently fell into the pool and almost drowned but luckily my dad saw me and jumped in and saved me when he jumped in he also twisted his ancle because of the shallow water.

This other time i swalloed a penny but my dad was a doctor so he could do CPR.
