What do you think, is Vizzed.com is a Social Network? I have described it to a couple people as such, but with super awesome vintage video games. There are similarities, but what's the difference?

I think you can classify it as a social network. There's a board, a chat room, IMing, PMing... that's pretty much the definition of a social network in the first place.

I think originally it was made because Davideo7 at the time was ambitious, and as a result we are where we are today.

Yea, I guess vizzed could be classified as a social network. What, with the boards and chat rooms, that's what a bunch of social network have. My only objection is that alot of members don't go onto the board,and instead just play the games. But if you do go on the board, then it you probably do think it's a social network.

Vizzed could totally be considered a social network. We have members who have their own profiles and can interact with one another via forums, chat, instant messaging, and private messaging. The only difference I see is that instead of Apps and Vids, we have the Retro Game and Toon Rooms.

I'd call it somewhat of a social network... it has all the communication requirements, the only real difference is that it links everyone despite how well you know them. You don't have to actually know the person to see what they're saying, it's an open forum rather than a network of your friends and your friends alone.
