Have you ever been psychologically impacted by something?

By an event, or something of the sort.

Yes something to that extent...I've been in a mental ward when I was 14 for personal reasons I won't discuss here. As of now...I'm cured!

Yes, I have been bullied since kindergarten. It's taken a turn for the better, and I've learned to ignore jack***es, and just simply live through life.

My own actions?

There was a period I thought I've lost it, it was when I moved again and I just felt SO bad in my new apartment and all kind of nightmares came to a point I couldn't tell either I was dreaming or awake. I mean, I thought I had woken up, but then something happened and I woke up again and something happened and I woke up - many times in a row, really messed with my head. Months in a row, got me paranoid as hell, I started to imagine I'm haunted and whatever, because those nightmares really were terribly real.

I think it was because I was just so exhausted, I worked 12 hours in a day that time and was drunk half the other or all the time, so. When I stopped the drinking, it went better, but until now I sometimes wake up to another dream and to another and another.
But it doesn't scare me anymore. I mean, it doesn't hurt.
And in its own way, I find interesting.
why and how do these things happen?
