The full moon slowly moving across the sky. My dad has a telescope. I was looking at the moon for about five to ten minutes and it was slowly moving, which I thought was really neat. I have also seen Venus and Mars, although they were (obviously) not as clear or large as the moon.

I was actually able to see the sun through a specialized telescope that allowed you to do so. You could see all the unique activity that happened on it like the sunspots.

best thing ive seen is the moon close up you can see every nook and cranny and crater its just like wow i was suprised how close and good the quality was i didnt believe i was lookign through a telelscope at first it just looked like a picture offthe internet i had to do a double take to accept how awesome it was aha

While I was trying to find a certain event that night, I instead found a very far away star that looked like it was on fire. It was awesome. And for the record I failed to find whatever was going on that night. It was about 10 years ago anyway.

The only thing I've ever actually seen through one was a full moon. =| Granted, it still looked beautiful and much cooler than it did through the naked eye, but I'd love to see Venus or Mars through a telescope.
