I don't remember at what point that they started rating the games. My first M Rated game probably should have been custers revenge for the Atari when I was a little kid. My older cousin had the game and I didn't know what it was lol

Then I played Mortal Kombat for the Genesis/Arcade/SNES but that game wasn't rated either.

The first game I remember that was rated M was Conkers Bad fur day...actually the guy at Target took my ID lol

I read a random selection of posts and find that mainly the first M-rated games people play are either COD or GTA. Occasionally there are exceptions such as with Perfect Dark. I feel so out of place when I say that the first Mature game I played was Persona 3 FES. It was a great JRPG that combined elements of normal school life with the epicness of killing monsters. I liked the plot and gameplay, but I have tried games like COD before and they are just not my thing. RPGs are just my style, I guess. Sigh, so different.
