The only Metroid games I've played were the Prime series. I heard that Other M was a lot different from the Prime games. It also got bad reviews so I decided it wasn't worth $50-$60.

I saved in the navigation room that's right after the water fill room with the rising & falling platforms....if that makes any sense. I haven't gotten very far in it but I really enjoy it.
