Juliet : I've noticed that just about everyone has a little character of some kind near their name--I was curious as to how you get that. (On yours, it was Baby Bowser, just as a point of reference, in case there's any doubt about what I'm referring to.)

WarpStarFerret : It's called user rank. As your post increases, the picture changes. You can edit your preferences here, if you want to change the theme of the pictures, or you just don't want to see them, you could edit it here:

The default category is Mario, but we also have the pokemon, zelda, gunbound, mortal combat, Doom 64, and Final fantasy 1 categories.

Juliet : Thank you, the link was quite helpful; I wanted to change one or two things from default anyway so I wouldn't have a mass-produced style profile. Also, I forgot to ask this earlier, but how does the save system here work? I know I'm supposed to save in-game, I know I saw that somewhere, but how do you access the save file? Is it simply saved to my profile? I would like to know for sure, because I've been so worried about losing my progress that I've gone for one-shotting these games, and it's kinda tiring to do that more than once or twice.

WarpStarFerret : If you're playing using the vizzed plug-in, just press f2 to save game progress and press f4 to load it. No need to worry about loosing save files, just don't forget to save by pressing f2.

Juliet : I've noticed that a lot of people have a second character/picture by there name when they post... I was wondering what that was and how you get one. On yours it's a girl with a staff and wings... can't place where it's from, though. And thanks for the help.

P.S. Sorry if the question barrage is getting annoying... I tend to keep forgetting half of my questions when I get around to asking them...

P.S.S. One of my other questions was if multi-player worked on vizzed somehow (like on Mario Kart 64), and if so how?

WarpStarFerret : She's offline but I'll help you. On the top there should be something that says "Edit Profile & Settings." Click on that and it will allow you to customize your profile and settings lol. The picture that you are referring to is the user picture. Browse images from your profile and pick your favourite or whatever suits what you want people to see you as (so long as it's no more than 100KBs).

NotJon : I went there and found a few things I didn't notice before, but I didn't find anything about a profile picture there... was it the thing under edit layout that you needed either 250 posts or to be trusted member to be able to access? Also, what's the 'sidekick' thing in the store? Nothing comes up when I click it except for a blank page...

As NotJon said, it's called user picture. It's under the user rank. To have one, just click 'choose file' ( can be seen at the right corner) and then choose a pic you like from the pics in your computer. If you've found something you like from the internet, just save it in to your computer, click choose file, and go to the folder where you saved it.

We don't have a multiplayer feature yet, but I heard before that there's a plan on having it here in vizzed.

The store is under development at the moment, for now there are only accessories, weapons and armors to purchase. Some of the accessories affects your vizzed board experience. One example of it is the laptop item. Once you purchased it, all the games in vizzed will be free to play for you.

Don't worry, It's my job to guide members specially new ones so it's alright, hahah. *looks at newbie support role under Viz count* So you could always ask me about stuff in vizzed. But don't forget that there are also lots of other mods and staff that are willing to help members when they're having problems.

Juliet : I think I found out why I can't find the user picture link under where you edit your profile... I was looking around the help link and eventually found a spot that said that newbies couldn't post pictures. It's a sensible rule though; it would be bad if a bunch of random people showed up and spam bombed the site with inappropriate pictures.(I wish I knew that sooner, though...) This is probably my last post on this thread of questions, I think I've pretty much figured out what I need to know. Thanks again for your help!

I remembered a few other questions, but I solved them on my own, so they don't have to cause a headache.

Posting is more fun than I thought it would be. It's only been a couple of days and I already have more posts than I thought I would have in a couple of months. I kinda like it here: It's pretty well run.
