I sometimes watch the credits unless I need to use the restroom right away after a movie.  There are plenty of movies that have a hidden scene after the credits or show bloopers during the credits.  So they are worth staying for unless it's just some instrumental song.  A couple movies that have scenes after the credits are Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Grey.

Whenever my parents took me to a movie, they would watch the credits for the little scenes at the end. Like in Ferris Bueller's Day Off where he says Why are you still here? Go home! I never really understood why they did.

No, I do not watch the credits. I leave immediately after the movie ends. If I really like a specific character I look up who (s)he is played by at home, but I see no point to waiting a few minutes and being caught in the leaving crowd.

I don't know why, but I always watch the end credits of any movie on the lookout for a Paul, Bob, Barry, or Pierre. Please, don't ask me why. It is a very long story. XD.

There was that one movie... super 8? That had something in the credits. Also, at chatching fire, it ended so suddenly I needed to see the credits.

If the movie is a terrible one, I take a good look at the credits so I can see who made the mess and laugh or be shocked at their iMDB page if possible. Other than that, it's never usually what I do.

Myself viewing the credits of a film must be determined on the decency of the actors throughout the film and the decency of the film itself. I mean, if the film had been terribly created, I would definitely never ever even believe nor even decide to watch the credits. If the creation of the film had ended up as decency, I may would just prefer to view the credits to learn who had been which actor if I had not known their identification. Also, my sister would watch the credits to approximately any film, considering she commonly feels intrigued by the decency of the actors and their identification and the decency of the film itself, but the majority of the amount of time periods, I would indefinitely watch the credits of any film because the effectiveness of the feeling of laziness. Haha!

The only time I would do so is if I knew that there was a little film at the end. If I don't know then i'll just leave, it can be very awkward if you are the only one sitting there while everyone else is walking out.
I think the only other exception is if the soundtrack to the credits is good, but I would only do that if it were to be a DVD, again it would be awkward in a Cinema.

I usually let the credits play while I use the restroom or get a snack or something. If it's at the theater, I usually chat with the person I'm with until the credits are done and the lights come on. Sometimes, there's a little clip after the movie.

I usually will if either of the two circumstances occur:

1.) I want to see who played certain parts or know which song may have been playing at a particular scene.

Or

2.) There are extras such as bloopers or extended scenes playing during the credits.

Otherwise, if I'm still present while credits are rolling then there's a good chance that it's because I'm stretching after sitting down for so long. (lol)

Yes, I'm the weird person who stays back and watches  the credits in movies. It's just kind of interesting to see who acted.

I usually don't. If it was a great movie that I loved then I would watch on to see the great people who made the movie.

Usually, no.

I try to run out of the theatre as fast a possible in order to beat the rush of overweight, popcorn-weilding, pimple-faced, moviegoers. I'm large, but not the largest of people, and I like to avoid being trampled. Sometimes I can't get out in time and I'm forced to sit through about 30 seconds of credits.

The only other reason I'd have for staying would be if there was just one actor who I KNOW I'd seen before in something else, and really can't remember their name. Surprisingly (sarcasm), this doesn't happen very often.
