Alright, so I've seen previews of the movie both on my computer and on the T.V., and they look amazing.

I also have seen the original, old one.

I heard that Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack, which sounds awesome too.

So, I'm asking you guys that have seen it what you thought, and people that haven't to share their impression. I'm wondering if I should pay for a movie ticket, or just wait until it's released on DVD and rent it or something.

What do you think?

I just saw it today and it was OK. I thought Jeff Bridges was excellent as Klu/Flynn and the son was pretty cool. However, Alan Bradley was much more of a background character which was really disappointing. The light cycle only had about 2-3 minutes and it was mostly just the disc-battles that were shown, the visuals were crisp but the adding of the 3-D was mostly an afterthought.

However, the soundtrack is excellent and Daft Punk is probably one of the best people to listen to these days.

Tron Legacy was a good movie, but I wouldn't say it was a great movie. If they had made Tron Legacy a movie of the Tron 2.0 game I think it would have been a great movie. In my opinion, the original Tron movie was better for the storyline and such, but Tron Legacy was better for the graphics/CGI.

I was sceptical about the movie because the first one looks very aweful but when I saw the movie I was surprised in a positiv way. It's a very good movie with great special effects, cool fights and an interesting story. The movie isn't flawless of course but you should watch it and buy the DVD.
