I like Directv for watching TV, but I much prefer cable internet to anything else I have had. The TV prices for what you are getting are much more reasonable with DirecTV then they are for Comcast in my area, but I live in an apartment now that doesn't allow Dishes. -------------------- |

I have always had cable,but recently I changed to Direct T.V and I like it much better.I really think I am going to stick with Satellite T.V for a while.

You can't argue there are more channels with cable, I have satellite at one house, and I've got over 5,000 channels plus satellite radio channels. They are pretty similar, but I hate losing TV every time there is a storm. SO I prefer my house with basic cable to my house with 5,000 channel satellite.

I prefer cable better. I haven't had satellite enough times to actually think it's better. Cable is much better, even though I pretty much neglect my TV  Cable has more features and such than satellite, from what Ive seen/heard.

I've never had cable, so I have a biased view on saying that Satellite T.V. is better. But, my view is ultimate, so AGREE WITH IT! I have no problems with satellite t.v., and it isn't "slow" or anything.

I find that digital cable and directv are basically the same channels just numbered different. Directv is cheaper right now so that's what I have, but if that were to switch back around I would have no problem going back to cable.
