I don't have an opinion really, I suppose if he was normal in any other respect why not, but then again should an adult woman collect them either?

I believe Paul McCartney said it best, "I'm normal and everybody else is weird" (possible paraphrase). Although I don't collect Barbie dolls (because they're evil for promoting a Eurocentric standard of beauty), I wouldn't look down upon another person for doing so because that's pretty judgmental. It's bad to generalize people for one detail. |

I don't think it's wrong for a guy to collect barbies. People collect what makes them happy, and if collecting barbies makes some guy happy, then go for it. I don't have any room to judge anyway. I'm a girl and I collect wrestling figures. As for an adult woman collecting barbies...same thing. My aunt has been collecting them for years and has over 300. She enjoy's it, and it's not hurting anyone, so I see no problem with it. -------------------- |

Maybe a little out of the ordinary but certainly not "wrong". Barbies can be a toy or a collector's item for either gender - if the person is finding it enjoyable then I see no problems with it.
