I remember when I got Gold. I played for a good five hours that day. Lol I was so scared to save because it said that it would overwrite my previous save data. Man, good times. That first file I chose Cyndaquil. Now whenever I play, I choose Totodile. One time I was just like pfft these starters are lame so I trained a Mareep! I taught him Thunder, Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, and Thundershock. Classic! I was so sad when the file got erased. Games back then were so easy to lose.

Go gen 2! I love this gen! Anyway, isn't it cool how they mix both Johto and Kanto together? It's sort of like playing two games together and it's much longer than the others! Plus, for us Dragon type lovers, there's a WHOLE DRAGON GYM!

Bunny_Warrior : Lol but there were only 4 dragons up to that point. I used to dislike Kanto in the 2nd generation. I still am not a big fan of its 2nd generation state, however, I always loved Johto.

spectergaj : Well, I have patched roms that's patched all the way to the end, so that's why I can play them. I wish I could have bought SS though. It was definitely worth buying... Anyway, I did make that post so now I guess I'll see what others think of the remake.

When I saw the gym leaders for Johto, I was like "Pfft, way too easy." Even the E4 was easy. Then I discovered that you could enter Kanto. I was amazed. This is a great Gen for Pokemon.
