I remember my first though was..."these glasses suck." 

Basically...I feel that it is significantly overrated and it is just a gimmicky to earn more money.

Well, the very first time I saw 3D was at the "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" exhibit at Disneyland when I was five. They were super realistic; it felt like the snakes and electricity and whatever other special effects that were happening were right there.

I think I cried. ;-;

I thought wow, this is over-rated. I wanted it to be more like in the commercials where the person grabs out into the audience, but realistically I thought it;d be similar to those 3-d kid books, but I was let down, it didn't really seem to do very much, just blurs the people in the back more and puts more emphasis on the main character, rather than the picture jumping at you. Now when I see a movie in 3-d though, I think they are great, really great, although I can see it being better improved cause some parts in movies seem like nothings 3-d.

The first time I tried to watch a 3d movie sucked. It was My Bloody Valentine 3d. The reason it was so bad was because without my glasses, I can't see good at all, but I could only see red and green without the 3d glasses. I tried putting the 3d glasses on over my glasses, but it just was not comfortable. So to this day I don't watch 3d movies.

Well most 3d movies now a days aren't really meant to be. It just is for more money
But when I first saw it I thought man this is hard to focus but then I got used to it and enjoyed it. (I think it was Transformers 2 or Avatar I watched)
