Once me and my brother built a complete motorized theme ride for a competition for the Lego magazine in I'd have to say 2006 or 2007. It went at least 15-20 mph fast, it was called "the twister". We obviously didn't win, when we got the next issue our little twister was a kiddie ride!

I tried to make Mario once (from a profile aspect) using a paused battle on the original Smash Bros as a model. I sort of gave up because I wasn't doing very good, but I didn't want to restart either.

The best one I completed was the giant Aliens from Mars set from like 10 years ago or so. It had tunnels and stuff. It was a giant alien base. I took it apart a while ago, but the pieces got scattered around so I won't be able to rebuild it. My brother has a bunch of Star Wars models (like the AT-AT). He idolized Legos for the longest time and still refuses to throw out the ones that he still has, but doesn't use.

One time I buckled down and with the limited amount of pieces I had, I built an awesome robot. Like something out of an anime. It was so awesome that I never took it apart. As of this post, it has been about six months since I finished it. The only time I fiddle with it is just for some little tweaks here and there to optimize it.

It was huge, crudely designed and multicolored but we managed it, though my brother wouldn't let me play with it afterwards he was so impressed with his work that he displayed it on his bedroom desk for about a week before he got bored with it and let me crash land it.

My brother and I used them for pranks. On the edge of the stair case, in front of bathroom doors. We also would make swords out of them or castles for our dolls. Hehe, Legos... when I was kid, I've played a lot with cheap versions of these... The best thing I colud do, was Robot and space ships... Anyways, The robots ever falled after I bulit them because their Size plus, make the bricks get stick with another bricks was a harder work...
