Well it depends on how you look at it. The new Pokemon look weird which makes Pokemon look worse but however all the new graphics makes it look better. So I feel neutral.

I thought the games got terrible after the second generation. R/B/Y/G/S and C are awesome, but all of the ones after that I thought were awful. For me, Pokemon has been getting worse and worse since March 19th 2003. (Release date of Ruby and Sapphire). Honestly, it was hard enough catching 252 pokemon, now there's what, 649? Geeze. It's time to stop. The franchise is seriously forcing itself now. I started looking at the names of the new Pokemon and stopped at Emboar and said, 'yeah I'm done, they're not even trying anymore'.

Pokemon has definitely gotten worse. When it first started, all the Pokemon were unique and original. Now their having to use whatever they can to make something up. I mean, they made a Pokemon that transforms into household appliances for goodness sake. Pokemon was great up until the R/S/E series, then it went straight down.

I wouldn't say worst but different because the fifth generation has nothing to do with the previous ones when evolution or pre-evolution is concerned.

I completely agree. I think they did a great job on Red, Blue, and Yellow. Gold, Silver, and Crystal were great. Fire Red and Leaf Green in my opinion were the best Pokémon games of all time. Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald were good but not great. Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum were in my opinion great. Heart Gold and Soul Silver I do not think were as good as the originals. Finally Black and White in my opinion were disappointing. It does;t even compare to the originals. As for the telivision show I think the first season was great and it has gone downhill from there.
