I was like 8 and I was screaming around the house I can't wait for Santa! He's going to bring me a car!! Yippee!! And then my dad came up to me and said "Santa is not real. Mommy and I buy the presents."
I don't remember if I cried after that or something but I could tell since the wrapping paper was the same as our house's so ya.

I don't think anyone told me he was fake I just kinda learned it with age... common sense. How does a 500 pound man in fit down a chimney let alone travel to every house and drink milk and eat cookies in a small time span? Plus you learn a lot faster if you don't live in a house with no firplace then you will know he is fake. But that is what it is, its what makes christmas fun for children let them live the fantasy  -------------------- |

I wasn't told by my parents. Me and my friends were discussing our Santas (13 Santas in Iceland, not joking) and found out that the things they should be able to do wasn't possible and we agreed on other things we found hard to believe and got tho the conclusion that he couldn't be real. We were somewhere between 7 and 9 at the time.

I kind of figured it myself after watching one of those "Christmas Specials" and looks at how "godlike" the guy was, I knew it cannot be possible .
And also, going to the store with my parents to buy the gift or my parents giving me the gift, yea, GAVE IT TO ME ONTO MY HANDS, of course I believed Santa was real (sarcasm). But I know that I never believed he was real and my parents never told me. Well my parents are really cheap, and they used the same wrapping paper and bags year after year, so I realized when I was about 7. 
I always thought that they wouldn't give me presents if I knew he wasn't real, so I always pretended I still believed.
