I don't mind elevators, but I don't make a point to use them. I'd almost rather take the stairs most of the time.
Though I went to the Empire state building once and rode the elevators all the way up. That was kinda weird, mostly because you're in it for such a long time, it makes you a little nervous... plus you're up real high.
However, I would like to weigh myself on an elevator just once, if just to see how and if it is different.

I never had a fear of elevators, however my first time on one I remember the new sensation of feeling heavier because the elevator's floor presses harder on your feet, and on the other hand, when the elevator moves downward, feeling lighter. I think elevators are fun, whether your having fun or just riding it.

Obviously I have no desire to be trapped in one, but most of the elevators nowadays, besides a lot of the ones in older buildings, have routine maintenance checks and have all the security measures taken. I try not to stress out about that sort of stuff.

Yeah, after the Tower of Terror, jk. 
All jokes aside though, I used to have scary thoughts on it falling and whatnot but I had those thoughts with everything though, so overall, I wouldn't consider it a fear as those thoughts stopped after about 7-8 years old.

I can get scared of them depending on how high the elevators go up . Like past the 30th floor and on. I don't like to go in very tall buildings. In fact I don't think I've ever been in one even though I live in New York. I would also get scared if the elevator would stop out of no where.

I used to be deathly afraid of riding in elevators because I always thought that they would get stuck. I was also a little kid who had seen far too many horror movies and heard too many horror stories. Some many years after that fear had initially developed, it'd passed. Now, I'm not quite so scared of them but they still make me nervous.

the only time i was ever afraid of elevators was when i was a baby and was afraid of the way they went up and down. i realize now that is what elevators do i used to think it was black magic. XD
