What are some of your ideas on stopping dupe's on vizzed? Because I've noticed that since more people are joining vizzed I see more dupe's popping up and I know the modes are getting tired of closing and locking threads. I used to use ''yahoo answers'' and when I used to make threads I saw when after I made a thread it shows you similar threads and it asks you does these threads answer your question or are they similar and you can answer yes or no.

You mean displaying related threads? Yeah that would be a great idea always good to include those... but I doubt it will fix anything. See people love making duplicate threads its what newbies do best And since I doubt they really read the rules or browse the forum first they will make a thread

It's also good that people make duplicates gives mods something to do, would kinda suck being a mod and not having to mod anything (like me lol but im not really a mod eventhough it says I am)

Won't solve duplicates but it will probably help people find answers faster.

I would suggest putting a search field on the board so people can find similar thread made that way, but even I don't use that feature the other boards I go to. I don't believe others would either.
