There are so many great games that take place in space. Heck, there are a bunch of Shmups that I would put on the list as well as some adventure games.

I really enjoy the Phantasy Star series. Now I know that the game takes place on planets but there is space travel involved and a whole futuristic space theme.

I also enjoy Star Fox, and Gradius. Both great shooters. Then you have the SNES starwars games. Really I could go on forever.

One of my favorite space video games is Einhander for the Ps1. It's a cool Shmup that not many people remember. You can do cool transformations and there's cool power up's. All around great game.

Pretty much my favorite Space Video game would have to be "Flashback The Quest For Identity". You can play it here in the RGR. I suggest the Sega Gen. Version.

Obvious question. Star Fox for Ninetendo 64 is the best space game. My second choice is Star Trek.

My favorite space game is, well, I have a few favorites, Zero Wing (All your base), Star Fox, Aegis Wing, and Super Mario Galaxy. I mostly like Star Fox.
