My favorite Sonic character has to be Shadow as his speed and agility is far superior to Sonic and he is awesome!

He has a good story line for adapting into the story. His design is cool and the moves he throws in some games are quite amazing in comparison to the other characters. Shadow is basically like the dark, evil, unpredictable side of Sonic which is quite cool.

Tails! I love tails, I always have and always will, I just think he is an overall cool character, I mean I know a lot of people don't like tails because he can be SUPER IRRITATING while playing the special stages in sonic the hedgehog 2 when you are trying to get the Chaos Emeralds, But I still love him

Miles "Tails" Prowler for sure!!!! Robotnik is a close second then Gamma if this was a top 5 or 10 favorite this be better but whatever. Tails I mean he can like FLY!!!!! SWIM!!!!! I like both the classic and modern design of Eggman. I like his personality, I like his voice actors all of them(Except OVA)I like how he can still be a threat with his design and name. He has the best personality of all the characters, and he remains the best character whether hilarious or serious. Something I cannot say for a majority of the other characters. It's the original Blue blur that does it to me. The "original", not that guy with long blue hair and can do all of these silly tricks that no one needs to make a good game with.
Right from Sonic the Hedgehog to Sonic and knuckles playing as sonic the hedgehog has been a treat. There was just something more creative about him than mario (though i'd admit I do prefer super mario world to sonic 2).
