The humor is starting to get stale. Many, many people agree. I mean, the show today pales in comparison to the first few seasons.

It definitely has gotten more boring over the years. I own the first six seasons and would much rather watch them again than watch a newer episode. I'm not saying the newer episodes are bad, but the humor isn't as good as it once was. -------------------- |

The truth that if, ultimately his jokes do not cause as much laughter as before, I prefer the earlier seasons, now improved graphics but the play under a lot more than it seems

I don't think they're getting BORING, per se, but the humor in the new ones is pretty bland. The first 10 seasons were the best IMO. |

It's been around for two decades, it's amazing how long it's lasted. I loved watching the Simpsons as a youngin'. Although I do not watch it much anymore, the same could be said for many of the other shows that I watch. I always seem to never know when anything other than baseball or Good Eats (Food Network really screws up the schedule for Alton so sometimes not even that). I know many others would not agree, I would much rather watch the Simpsons than the crap Seth McFarlane has been churning out lately. Family Guy has gotten so blown out and stupid, the Cleveland Show is just a waste of thirty minutes, and American Dad got old fast. It's funny how despite the Simpsons being arguably the greatest animated show of all time, the only other show that Matt has made is Futurama (which I still watch often). Seems like everything has just been handed out to McFarlane lately. |

Meh. It's humor's gotten a little dull, but I still enjoy watching it. The movie was a bit of a bust though. Only the makers of the Simpsons could make a movie where they kill Green Day, make Schwarzenegger president, and show off Bart's gentiles all in 87 minutes and get away with it.

Well some of the newer episodes are a little dull and don't seem to be matching up with other shows especially with Family Guy.Even though I do watch The Simpsons and here and there some things are pretty funny,I just don't seem to laugh at the stupidity of Homer as much as that of Peter Griffin.
