What game do you think is the most competitive. What game really brings out rivalries and gets people trying there hardest to win. I personally think it has to be halo. Every time a new halo comes out everyone I know starts playing and they all want to be the best. People start fighting with each other and a lot of friendships get temporarily ruined. When we play against each other there is so much smack talk and everyone knows there is more on the line then just winning the game. If you lose your never going to hear the end of it from the winning side. The winning side always gains everyones respect as well. This game in my opinion is by far the most competitive game ever made and I hope they never stop making new ones.

When I play Soul Calibur 4 with my friends...the inner anger of NotJon comes out. I'm usually quite calm or at least controlled, but, that game just brings out all of my hate. I say things and occasionally do things that I never say/do. In the heat of the moment, there's an ounce of meaning to them too. It's great fun to play that game with me if you ever get the chance.

I am one of the most competitive game players out there and its crazy the games you guys named so far. Super Smash Bros was the number one game in my area before halo and if you weren't good at it you weren't respected. We had some intense games o Melee at the local rec center. I think that Call of Duty has the most competitive online, because i barley play, but when i do i really get into it and when other people have a mic, you can ell they are really into it too. Also i have to agree with Iargoryan because halo is also a very competitive game.

I can't believe I didn't mention Mario Party! This tops Halo, Call of Duty, and Smash Bros and it is the most random least skill required of them all. This game serious ruined friendships in my neighborhood and caused countless fights (fist fights and verbal). There is no game that can come close to this game. You steal the wrong persons star or coins and they might just lose there temper hahahah!
