So far, my best team has been:

Celebi
Feraligatr
Houndoom

Misdreavus

I'll admit I cheated to catch all of these pokemon at level 3. But that's because if I caught them the normal way, I wouldn't have had most of them until the end of the game. I wanted to raise them all from babies.

Oh and Misdreavus's combo of Mean Look and Perish Song pwns. Just sayin'.

I was most adamant about raising my Pokemon in Leaf Green and had the most success with that game. My six are:
