I heard someone was trying to re-create this hack using FireRed.
I mean, to think... That's intense, if you were to make something like this.

There's also apprently a way to sync the music in the Japaneese Lavender Town with the American verision, and the words "Leave now" and a ghost sprite appear. I saw a video on youtube, and it looked pretty legit...

I also heard the music in the Japaneese music has odd frequencies that can hurt your ears... Which I wouldn't doubt, since it sounds like it came from... Eh, I don't cuss so yeah.

Oh, anoter thing. I heard another theory about that the whole series is Ash in a coma... That he went into it after being struck by lightning.
I don't think it was intended, but it is a great theory. Why would you do that to a child's show? Then again, society is screwed up now days.

I love these kinds of game urban legends. I've read up on the lavender town music in the Japanese and a lot of people say that it's just annoying and fake. But then you have to ask, why did they change the music. It wouldn't be the first time that kids have died from Pokemon. (the banned episode where it sent kids all over japan into seizures.) Perhaps the frequencies were messing with the kid's minds and it's proven that kids can hear higher pitched noises. Then there are the sound drugs that alter your state of mind. It could be true that it made kids go crazy. but then again, I heard that they never found any police or medical reports of this.

I love creepy things so I defiantly read those articles. Also, could you post a link to the two lavender town songs mixed?
oh! I heard that there's also unused lavender tower sprites: "white hand," the tower boss "buried alive," and the ghost animation with 50 mysterious frames of screaming faces, corpses, and a skeletal figure.

Personally, I don't think the game boy had that clear of graphics. it would have to be very blocky.

I would have freaked out if I played the second one as a kid. They said at the end of the second one that someone was trying to make a ROM of that hack. We should get it on Vizzed!

It's not right that someone would sell it back to a store but just making it doesn't mean you've got something wrong with you.

Zamiel : lol. No offense meant to any person who would actually make this game! It'd be different if it were some other type of game, but this is a game that little kids play as well as people who are older and that shouldn't be done to a game that little kids play. The impression I got was that it was labeled as if it were the normal Pokemon Silver, so imagine the sort of brain damage that could give an unwary player! If you made a game like this, I wouldn't mind so as long as it was labeled properly and little kids couldn't get their hands on it! So it was basically everything in that article put together that's messed up.

So basically, it's creepy, but espically creepy for kids... The person who would make this must be... Creative, you could say. XD I guess...
