I like Modern Warfare 2, because I didn't play Black Ops yet.

i havnt played black ops but considering it has nazi zombies in it apparently id go with black ops

Black ops PWNS world at war and Modern warfare 2 , you get so much cooler stuff and you can also unlock the pentagon and Dead ops Arcade in Zombies . so all in all I think Black Ops is better than all of them although i still enjoy COD:4.

I like the Zombie funness in Black Ops but Modern Warfare 2 has better Multi imo. I loved how the guns would lvl up and you had to work for stuff, in Black Ops everyone gets the same stuff. :/ ...I hate the word pwn...

gotta say black ops multiplayer is beast

oh that's tough. I like multiplayer on Black Ops better because you buy the guns and perks and what not that you actually want just about whenever (you do have to unlock guns but most come pretty early anyway) as opposed to MW2 where you had to level up forever before you can even get the gun you really want. Then if you prestige, boom it's gone again just like that. At least in Black Ops you can reconstruct your classes rather quickly. But I think I like the campaign in MW2 better. They were both good but I remember really getting into the story and everything in MW2 alot more so than Black Ops. I would have played though the whole MW2 campaign in one sitting if possible but I really stretched out the Black Ops campaign to like at least a week because I kept stopping to play online and stuff. I did like the length of the Black Ops campaign though. I don't remember how long the MW2 one was (it might have been the same length) but most games now a days have campaigns half as long as Black Ops. For example Halo. Their games as as awesome of CoD but the campaigns are so short in comparison.

i like black ops more cuz in MW2 ever one had the ump45 it wasn't fun after that

Zamiel : Black Ops is even more centered on upgrades to weapons than Modern Warfare. You have to earn points to be able to purchase the guns and equipment. You also have to be a certain level to buy certain equipment or weapons. Leveling up is way more important in Black Ops then it was in Modern Warfare 2.

Black Ops, my friend. It may not allow you to keep another rifle of sorts as a secondary weapon, which may disappoint some, but its a lot more refined than MW, even though MW practically created CoD multiplayer. MW did it first, BO did it best.

Black Ops. I don't think MW2 is all that great.

Black Ops definitely cause it's a morph between World at War (my favorite CoD) and MW2 (better online) = Awesome. Plus it has flamethrowers and dogs, also my favorites from Black Ops. Plus BO is just a better game all around, and the campaign is frikkin beast.

Definitely Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops was more of a secret agent game. It just didn't feel like Call of Duty.

Black Ops all the way. MW2 was pretty good, but Black Ops has more weapons and a bunch of awesome ways to kill in Multiplayer.

I voted for Black Ops because of the major game mechanics changes. I like how it can be less cheap, for instance the use of kill streaks, and a term for being quick to aim and shoot by pulling up iron sights or scopes called Quick scoping has been altered, because the game forces the guns reticule to be affected by gravity and in a way where you have to bring the reticule up after a bobbing of the barrel up and down before you get to focus. Basically its easier for newcomers to get into the game without being owned.

I own a wii so black ops is the only choice for me so it's a no brainer XD

I never played modern warfare 2 but i own black ops and it is very cool.

it just has to be mw2 not really a big campaign fan but the multiplayer is miles better than black ops and i don't care how many people call quick scoping cheap or people using certain guns cause guess what in black ops people do the exact same thing there may be loads of guns in it but you will only see a hand full of people using dif guns so yeah treyarch did a great job of making the game balanced in that everyone runs round with a smg/or assult rifle

I dont play black ops cause i dont have it my friend does the only one i played is modern warfare 2 4, and COD WAW (world at war)

While they are both very good games really, got all the elements of a FPS that I do so very much enjoy, I would have to say, of the two, I prefer Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops is great fun, but I just don't care so much for the weapons and killstreak rewards. I feel like it could have been better. That there could have been more. I was really hoping there would be a much more impressive arsenal and more customization available. They both have great single player campaigns. I would probably on the fence about that because they both have parts of the campaign I really like. MW2 had Spec Ops which I loved and Black Ops has Zombies which most everybody loves.

Between Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, I would have to go with Black Ops. Now that Black Ops is out, Modern Warfare 2 is kind of outdated if you know what I mean. Black Ops is more fun, and the addition of Zombies is pretty cool too. But the only real bad thing about Black Ops is that the maps are smaller than Modern Warfare 2's.
