I am lost, dreaming
Secretly awake,
Full of ambition and hope,
In a place that doesn't feel real

Everything is wonderous,
And nothing represents pain,
The place is quiet and peaceful,
And has no crime, poverty, or war

The happy dreams,
The ones you take me
Away with each night we talk,
The one's I can't wait to see

I'm wise awake,
But I'm dreaming,
How did I meet,
One such as you

You brighten my day,
My world, make it sunny,
Wipe away rain clouds,
Smite non believers

You have given me what I want,
In a perfect world, this is my perfect dream
This world is pleasant, but it comes at a price,
To get in, we have to take a leap of faith
